Authority Terms of Use

These Authority Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Reqport platform ("Platform") as a representative of a law enforcement agency, government authority, or other public body. The Platform is provided by Reqport AB, org.nr 559550-0272 ("Reqport", "we", "us"). By accessing the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Authorization and Registration

1.1 By registering for the Platform, you confirm that you are an authorized representative of a law enforcement agency, government administrative or investigative body, or other public authority, and that you are acting in your official capacity.

1.2 You agree to provide accurate registration information. Reqport may verify your identity and organizational affiliation before granting or continuing access.

1.3 You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Data Security

2.1 All data requests and responses transmitted through the Platform are protected by end-to-end encryption using confidential computing technology. Reqport does not hold decryption keys and cannot access the content of data transmitted through the Platform.

2.2 The Platform is hosted within the European Economic Area on Microsoft Azure infrastructure.

3. Your Obligations

• (a) All data requests submitted through the Platform must be lawfully authorized and submitted in connection with a legitimate investigation or legal process.
• (b) You shall not use the Platform to submit fraudulent, unauthorized, or abusive requests.
• (c) Any data received through the Platform shall be handled in accordance with applicable law and used solely for the purposes for which it was requested.
• (d) You shall not impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim an organizational or governmental affiliation.

4. Reqport's Role

4.1 Reqport provides the Platform as a secure transmission and storage channel. Reqport is not a party to the legal process between you and the organizations to which your requests are directed.

4.2 Reqport does not access, review, or monitor the content of data transmitted through the Platform.

5. Access and Termination

5.1 Authority users access the Platform at no charge.

5.2 Reqport may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these Terms, if your use poses a security risk, or if required by applicable law. Reqport will use reasonable efforts to provide notice.

5.3 You may stop using the Platform at any time.

6. Disclaimer and Liability

6.1 The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by applicable law, Reqport disclaims all warranties, express or implied.

6.2 Reqport shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

7. Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with your use of the Platform is processed in accordance with Reqport's Privacy Policy at https://reqport.com/privacy-policy.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any dispute shall be settled by the courts of Stockholm, Sweden.
